Now, now. You might ask me why did I wanted to create this sort of book-club/book review...
See, When I was younger, I used to read quite a lot. I was called a bookworm and i would pride myself of that title.
I loved getting into stories where i could imagine myself surrounding by gods and vampires, witches and adventurers...
Nowaday, I still call myself a bookworm, but...am I still really one?
Perhaps the utter irony of my predicament is knowing I'm currently a litterature major...
As someone who is currently studying litterature in university, shouldn't I pass my time reading?
I have bought an ridiculous amount of books through the years to convince myself I was still a reader after all. That I wasn't a fraud. But inevitably, something isn't working as I don't read even though I have the time to.
Most of the books on my shelves are stories I'd like to immerse myself in. Stories I promised myself I'd get in but in the end, failed.
And then a thought came to me... What if...I create a book-club to encourage myself and other to reread ?
What if I'd encourage people to finally read one of the books they bought ?
This place if for and to everyone. I'm excited to meet all of you and all of the stories you could never find someone else to talk to about.
